The Colour Blind Monks are a four-piece alternative rock band known for their brooding energy and unapologetic sound, drawing inspiration from the raw spirit of '90s grunge and post-punk. With Phoebe Rose’s commanding vocals, Alex Cowell’s gritty guitar work, Joe Tynan’s driving bass, and Albert Valentine’s explosive drumming, the band has carved out a distinct identity that fuses haunting melodies with visceral intensity. Their music is equal parts cathartic and chaotic—crafted to resonate deeply both on record and in electrifying live performances. United by a love of distortion, disillusionment, and DIY ethos, The Colour Blind Monks are quickly building a reputation as one of the UK’s most compelling underground acts.
