Crack Comedy presents a season of Edinburgh Festival Fringe previews. A range of the best comedians in the UK as they prepare brand new shows for the festival.
These are Work-In-Progress shows where a selection of brilliant comics will be testing, creating and honing their craft. It's a great chance to have an up-close look at the comedy process and to have a great laugh doing so.
Each night features two acts doing 50 minute long shows.

Mark Thomas celebrates 40 years at the mic, In that time, he has changed laws on tax, jailed arms dealers, kickstarted a comedy circuit in Palestine, given evidence before three Parliamentary select committees and taken the police to court three times and won. Anna Thomas

Anna Thomas is an award-winning comedian, originally hailing from Carmarthenshire, South Wales.
She wrote and starred in ‘Lady Bigfoot’, a short film that premiered on BBC One Wales at 10:40pm on 4th July, and became the most watched comedy short on BBC Iplayer in 2023. ‘Lady Bigfoot is a tender and utterly charming portrait of an outsider’s yearning. And it’s very funny too with little jokes squeezed in where they have no right to be’ ★★★★ Chortle. Anna also wrote and starred in the radio sitcom ‘Gulls’ which is currently available on BBC Sounds.

Additionally, Anna is current co-host of the podcast, ‘Early Worms’ with comedian Phil Ellis.
