Crack Comedy presents a season of Edinburgh Festival Fringe previews. A range of the best comedians in the UK as they prepare brand new shows for the festival.
These are Work-In-Progress shows where a selection of brilliant comics will be testing, creating and honing their craft. It's a great chance to have an up-close look at the comedy process and to have a great laugh doing so.
Each night features two acts doing 50 minute long shows.
Mark Thomas: 40 in Standup Years
Expect a taster menu of government and personal mayhem, jokes, rants and a personal state of the nation broadcast.
Mark Thomas celebrates 40 years at the mic, In that time, he has changed laws on tax, jailed arms dealers, kickstarted a comedy circuit in Palestine, given evidence before three Parliamentary select committees and taken the police to court three times and won. The world’s moving too fast to predict what the content will be. Join Mark as he tries to turn 'what the f*ck is going on' into a cogent hour of stand-up..
