Based in the heart of London, Ruby and the Dukes are a five piece musical force that transports audiences back to the golden era of the 1940s and 1950s.

Ruby is a vintage singer originally from Florida but now based in South East London. The proud daughter of a WWII Veteran, her love of vintage fashion and music of the 40s and 50s started at a young age. Ruby’s passion for this era  of music comes alive on stage in a powerfully electric performance.

Chris Thorn is a guitarist and formed Ruby and the Dukes back in 2015 living in London since 1990 playing and recording with various bands and artists. With over 30 years of guitar-playing under his belt he made his professional debut on London’s live acid jazz scene in the 90’s. His subsequent CV features 10 years with the JazzHearts and sessions with the eclectic Mint Royale, plus countless tours and live appearances that range from Glastonbury (1997) and The Jazz Café to playing and recording at Ronnie Scotts - in the band dubbed the “Supergroup”  by The Times - for the 2001 live album “The Way it Feels”. 

Jonny Gee is one of the UK’s most versatile double bassists, bringing his energy and enthusiasm to a wide variety of projects. He has performed, recorded and broadcast with many top artists and groups all over the globe, including Ravi Shankar, Antonio Forcione, ZUM, Jacqui Dankworth, English Touring Opera, Joanna Eden and The Sixteen.

Lynne Walker will blow your socks off! She is an incredibly talented saxopohonist and session musician who has worked with Limahl, Odyssey, Jules Holland Jazz Orchestra, Michael Ball, Jackie Graham. Bay City Rollers, The Drifters, Nick Heywood, Groove Armada and The Foundations among others.

Graham Cuttill was born in East London, has been playing drums since 1979. As well as playing drums for Ruby and the Dukes, Graham has recorded and performed with The Foundations, Jimmy James & the Vagabonds, Edwin Starr, Alexander O’Neal, Nona Hendricks, Jocelyn Brown, Jackie Graham, Gloria Estefan & The Miami Sound Machine, Robin Gibb, Limahl of Kajagoogoo, Kiki Dee, Howard Jones, to name a few….
